MEET Dr. Patel
Dr. Hetal S Patel earned her DDS from University of Illinois at Chicago college of Dentistry in year 2010. Dr. Patel is an active member of American Dental Association (ADA), Michigan Dental Association (ODA). Dr. Patel attends many dental conferences and she is always enthusiastic in learning about recent advances in dentistry. With her vast experience in the field of dentistry she understands the needs of the patients very well.
Dr. Patel lives in Canton, MI with her husband Sujal, who is a pharmacy manager in Ypsilanti and their two children Shiv(13 year) and Shravya (8 year). On the weekends much of her time is spent with her family. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and walking .
MEET Dr. Shah
Dr. Shah was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He went on to complete an Honors degree in Biochemistry at the University of Western Ontario before accepting a spot at the SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Shah is very active in continuing education and went on to advance his training by completing an additional residency at Ellis Hospital in Albany, NY.
Since completing his residency, Dr. Shah practiced in NY state for a year, private practice in Chicago for 6 years and finally settled into Michigan in 2022. Dr. Shah brings his passion for continuing education in various areas of dentistry including root canal therapy, and oral surgery. In addition to this, Dr. Shah has taken continuing education in implant placement.
MEET Dr. Saxena
Dr. Saxena was born in New Delhi, India, and raised across multiple countries including India, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the United States—an experience that has given her a unique cultural perspective and a deep appreciation for connecting with people from all walks of life.
In 2020, she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in India. She further advanced her training with a post-doctoral fellowship in Periodontal and Implant Microsurgery at University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2021. Driven by her passion for clinical excellence and patient care, she then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Michigan as well. Dr. Saxena is enthusiastic about delivering exceptional dental care to families in the Canton community and is especially passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles.
